13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 1, lines 16-19, delete the underlined language

16  and, following the period on line 16, insert:  To accomplish

17  this, the department shall allocate no less than 1.5 percent

18  of its total project budget to beautification. To the extent

19  practical large plant materials purchased from Florida-based

20  nurserymen stock on a uniform competitive-bid basis will be

21  used. Up to 0.5 percent may be used for small to medium plant

22  material.
