14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 1, lines 23-30, delete those lines
16
17 and insert: examination and a certification of having passed
18 a school-entry vision screening or of having taken a
19 comprehensive vision examination and analysis after failing a
20 vision screening. The required health examination and vision
21 test must have been performed within 1 year prior to
22 enrollment in school. The school board of each district, and
23 the governing authority of each nonpublic school, may
24 establish a policy which permits a student up to 30 school
25 days to present a certification of a school-entry health
26 examination and up to 120 days to present a certification of a
27 school-entry vision screening and, if required, a
28 certification of a comprehensive vision
