11  Senator Silver moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 1, line 24, through page 2, line 5, delete

15  those lines

17  and insert:  examination, which must include a vision

18  screening or examination, performed within 1 year prior to

19  enrollment in school.  The school board of each district, and

20  the governing authority of each nonpublic school, may

21  establish a policy which permits a student up to 30 school

22  days to present a certification of a school-entry health

23  examination.  Any school board that which establishes such a
