13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 8, lines 14-16, delete those lines

15

16  and insert:

17         Section 6.  Paragraph (b) of subsection (1) and

18  subsections (6) and (9) of section 960.13, Florida Statutes,

19  are amended to read:

20         960.13  Awards.--

21         (1)

22         (b)  In no case may an award be made when the record

23  shows that such report was made more than 72 hours after the

24  occurrence of such crime unless the department, for good cause

25  shown, finds the delay to have been justified. The department,

26  upon finding that any claimant or award recipient has not duly

27  cooperated with the state attorney, all law enforcement

28  agencies, and the department, may deny, reduce, or withdraw

29  any award, as the case may be.
