  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to economic development;

  3         expressing the legislative intent to foster

  4         economic development in rural communities in

  5         the state; providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

10  foster economic development activities targeted toward the

11  creation of employment and other economic opportunities in

12  rural communities in the state.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

14  law.
