13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 6, line 9, after the period

16  insert:  The exemption provided in this subparagraph for

17  machinery and equipment purchased or leased for use in the

18  transmission or redistribution of digital television signals

19  shall be repealed effective June 30, 2001.
