  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to economic development;

  3         expressing the legislative intent to promote

  4         economic development in the state; providing an

  5         effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

10  encourage economic development as a means of creating a better

11  quality of life for Florida residents.

12         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

13  law.
