  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to economic development;

  3         expressing the legislative intent to promote

  4         economic development in the state through

  5         improvements to permitting systems; providing

  6         an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

11  improve the state's business climate and encourage economic

12  development by streamlining permitting systems and by

13  implementing one-stop permitting initiatives.

14         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

15  law.
