13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 9, line 5, delete the period

15

16  and insert:  directly relating to, and in furtherance of,

17  existing public safety statutes. Furthermore, funds may not be

18  expended for the purpose of influencing public opinion on

19  public policy issues that have not been resolved by the

20  Legislature or the electorate.
