  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to Hillsborough County;

  3         specifying completion dates for performance

  4         audits for specified agencies within

  5         Hillsborough County; providing an effective

  6         date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  Notwithstanding any other provision of law,

11  the completion date of the next performance audit mandated by

12  special act for each of the following agencies shall be: for

13  the Tampa Port Authority and the Hillsborough County

14  City-County Planning Commission, April 30, 2001; for the

15  Hillsborough County Environmental Protection Commission and

16  the Hillsborough County Hospital Authority, April 30, 2002;

17  for the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority and the

18  Hillsborough County Public Transportation Commission, April

19  30, 2003; and for the Hillsborough County Civil Service Board

20  and the Tampa Sports Authority, April 30, 2004.

21         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

22  law.
