14 On page 45, line 6, through page 46, line 3, delete
15 those lines

17 and insert:
18 (f) Beginning with the 2000-2001 academic year, each
19 public and private institution that offers a teacher
20 preparation program in this state must annually report
21 information regarding these programs to the state and the
22 general public. This information shall be reported in a
23 uniform and comprehensible manner that conforms with
24 definitions and methods proposed by the Education Standards
25 Commission, that are consistent with definitions and methods
26 approved by the Commissioner of the National Center for
27 Educational Statistics, and that are approved by the State
28 Board of Education. This information shall be reported through
29 publications such as college and university catalogs and
30 promotional materials sent to potential applicants, secondary
31 school guidance counselors, and prospective employers of the
