14         Senate Amendment 

15         On page 1, lines 22-28, delete those lines

16

17  and insert:  the 1997-1998 General Appropriations Act, The

18  Department of Children and Family Services is authorized to

19  certify local funds not to exceed $5 million as state match

20  for children's mental health services funded by Medicaid in

21  excess of the amount of state general revenue matching funds

22  appropriated for such services through the 1997-1998 General

23  Appropriations Act. The department is also authorized to

24  certify local funds
