11  The Committee on Transportation recommended the following

12  amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 

15         On page 2, lines 11-16, delete those lines

16

17  and insert:  forfeiture of the motor vehicle under this

18  section, 30 percent of the net proceeds from the sale of the

19  motor vehicle shall be retained by the seizing law enforcement

20  agency and 70 percent shall be deposited in the the General

21  Revenue Fund for use by local WAGES coalitions in providing

22  transportation services for participants of the WAGES program.

23  In a forfeiture proceeding under this section, the court may

24  consider the extent that the family of the owner has other

25  public or private means of transportation.
