2 An act relating to trust funds; terminating
3 specified trust funds within the Executive
4 Office of the Governor; providing for
5 disposition of balances in and revenues of such
6 trust funds; prescribing procedures for the
7 termination of such trust funds; repealing s.
8 215.195, F.S., relating to the State-Federal
9 Relations Trust Fund; providing an effective
10 date.

12 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

14 Section 1. (1) The following trust funds within the
15 Executive Office of the Governor are terminated:
16 (a) The Hurricane Andrew Recovery and Rebuilding Trust
17 Fund, FLAIR number 31-2-205.
18 (b) The State-Federal Relations Trust Fund, FLAIR
19 number 31-2-690.
20 (2) Unless otherwise provided, all current balances
21 remaining in, and all revenues of, the trust funds terminated
22 by this act shall be transferred to the General Revenue Fund.
23 (3) For each trust fund terminated by this act, the
24 agency or branch that administers the trust fund shall pay any
25 outstanding debts and obligations of the terminated fund as
26 soon as practicable, and the Comptroller shall close out and
27 remove the terminated fund from the various state accounting
28 systems using generally accepted accounting principles
29 concerning warrants outstanding, assets, and liabilities.
30 Section 2. Section 215.195, Florida Statutes, is
31 repealed.

1 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2000.
