11  Senator King moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 8, between lines 4 and  5,

15

16  insert:

17         Section 6.  Subsection (26) of section 403.703, Florida

18  Statutes, is amended and a new subsection (45) is added to

19  said section to read:

20         403.703  Definitions.--As used in this act, unless the

21  context clearly indicates otherwise, the term:

22         (26)  "Storage" means the containment or holding of a

23  hazardous waste, either on a temporary basis or for a period

24  of years, in such a manner as not to constitute disposal of

25  such hazardous waste. References to "storage" and "storage

26  facilities" include management or storage of hazardous waste

27  at hazardous waste transfer facilities.

28         (45)  "Hazardous waste transfer facility" means any

29  transportation-related storage facility, including loading

30  docks, parking areas, storage areas and other similar areas,

31  that receive manifested shipments of hazardous waste and where

 2  hours, but not greater than 10 days.
