14         On page 7, line 15, after the period

16  insert:  Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the

17  contrary, no student shall be identified as being eligible to

18  receive services funded through the dropout prevention and

19  academic intervention program based soley on the student being

20  from a single-parent family.
