  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Public Access Data

  3         System Trust Fund; amending s. 15.09, F.S.;

  4         authorizing the use of funds in the Public

  5         Access Data Systems Trust Fund for operations

  6         of the Department of State; deleting provisions

  7         limiting use of such funds; providing an

  8         effective date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12         Section 1.  Paragraph (b) of subsection (5) of section

13  15.09, Florida Statutes, 1998 Supplement, is amended to read:

14         15.09  Fees.--

15         (5)

16         (b)  Effective July 1, 1999 For the 1998-1999 fiscal

17  year only, funds from the Public Access Data Systems Trust

18  Fund may be appropriated for the operations of the department.

19  This paragraph is repealed on July 1, 1999.

20         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

21  law.

24                          SENATE SUMMARY

25    Provides that moneys in the Public Access Data Systems
      Trust Fund may be used for the operations of the
26    Department of State.
