13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 63, between lines 16 and 17,

16  insert:

17         Section 43.  Subsection (6) of section 483.041, Florida

18  Statutes, is amended to read:

19         483.041  Definitions.--As used in this part, the term:

20         (6)  "Licensed practitioner" means a physician licensed

21  under chapter 458, chapter 459, chapter 460, or chapter 461; a

22  dentist licensed under chapter 466; a person licensed under

23  chapter 462; or an advanced registered nurse practitioner

24  licensed under chapter 464; or a duly licensed practitioner

25  from another state who orders examinations on materials or

26  specimens for nonresidents of this state who reside in the

27  same state as the requesting licensed practitioner.
