11  Senator McKay moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 7, between lines 29 and 30,

15

16  insert:

17         Section 5.  Before December 31, 1999, any municipality

18  an area of which has previously received designation as an

19  Enterprise Zone in the population category described in

20  section 290.0065(3)(a)3., Florida Statutes, may create a

21  satellite enterprise zone not exceeding 1.5 square miles in

22  area outside of and, notwithstanding anything contained in

23  section 290.0055(4), Florida Statutes, or any other law, in

24  addition to the previously designated enterprise zone

25  boundaries. The Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic

26  Development shall amend the boundaries of the areas previously

27  designated by any such municipality as enterprise zones upon

28  receipt of a resolution adopted by the municipality describing

29  the satellite enterprise zone areas, as long as the additional

30  areas are consistent with the categories, criteria, and

31  limitations imposed by section 290.0055, Florida Statutes.
