  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Treasurer; amending s.

  3         18.03, F.S.; clarifying the location of the

  4         Treasurer's office; providing an effective

  5         date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  Section 18.03, Florida Statutes, is amended

10  to read:

11         18.03  Residence and office.--The Treasurer shall

12  reside at the seat of government of this state, and shall have

13  keep his or her office in a room in the capitol, and shall

14  perform duties prescribed by the State Constitution. The Said

15  office shall be open every day, except for Sundays, holidays,

16  and public festivals excepted, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday

17  through Friday of every week.

18         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

19  law.

23    Clarifies the location of the Treasurer's office and
