  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to public schools; expressing

  3         an intent to amend laws to extend the length of

  4         the school year and provide funds therefor;

  5         providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  The Legislature intends to extend the

10  length of the school year and to provide state funds for its

11  extension.

12         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

13  law.
