12  recommended the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 69, between lines 9 and 10,

16

17  insert:

18         Section 56.  Subsection (4) of section 468.306, Florida

19  Statutes, 1998 Supplement, is amended to read:

20         468.306  Examinations.--All applicants, except those

21  certified pursuant to s. 468.3065, shall be required to pass

22  an examination.  The department is authorized to develop or

23  use examinations for each type of certificate.

24         (4)  A nonrefundable fee not to exceed $75 plus the

25  actual per-applicant cost for purchasing the examination from

26  a national organization shall be charged for any subsequent

27  examination.
