15 On page 69, between lines 9 and 10,

17 insert:
18 Section 56. Paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section
19 468.309, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
20 468.309 Certificate; duration; renewal; reversion to
21 inactive status.--
22 (1)(a) A radiologic technologist's certificate issued
23 in accordance with this part automatically expires as
24 specified in rules adopted by the department which establish a
25 procedure for the biennial renewal of certificates on December
26 31 of the year following the year of issuance. A certificate
27 shall be renewed by the department for a period of 2 years
28 upon payment of a renewal fee in an amount not to exceed $75
29 and upon submission of a renewal application containing such
30 information as the department deems necessary to show that the
31 applicant for renewal is a radiologic technologist in good

1 standing and has completed any continuing education
2 requirements that which may be established by the department
