  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to fishing and hunting;

  3         authorizing the Fish and Wildlife Conservation

  4         Commission to increase fishing and hunting

  5         license fees; providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  The Fish and Wildlife Conservation

10  Commission may increase fishing and hunting license or permit

11  fees by rule adopted without the approval of the Legislature

12  in an amount not to exceed the Consumer Price Index for the

13  preceding calendar year as reported by the United States

14  Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics.

15         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 1999.
