14         On page 3, line 30, after the period

15

16  insert:  Furthermore, the limits on liability in subparagraphs

17  (b)2. and 3. do not apply to a motor vehicle that is used in

18  the transportation of materials found to be hazardous for the

19  purposes of the Hazardous Materials Transportation Act, as

20  amended (49 U.S.C. ss. 1801 et seq.), and that is required

21  pursuant to such act to carry placards warning others of the

22  hazardous cargo.
