13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 10, between lines 27 and 28,

16  insert:

17         4.  Companion and sitter organizations that were

18  registered under s. 440.509(1) on January 1, 1999, and were

19  authorized to provide personal services under s. 393.063(35)

20  under a developmental services provider certificate on January

21  1, 1999, may continue to provide such services to past,

22  present, and future clients of the organization who need such

23  services, notwithstanding the provisions of this act.
