        Immediately following Specific Appropriation 1557-A, 
        INSERT:

        Funds provided in Specific Appropriation 1557A are
        contingent upon SB 2162 or similar legislation
        becoming law which authorizes a new technical
        assistance program for small municipalities and
        special districts.


Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process.  However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement
within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items.
