        Transportation Program

        After existing proviso immediately following Specific 
        Appropriation 1528A, INSERT:

        From Specific Appropriation 1528A, $1,000,000 shall
        be provided to the City of Tallahassee or
        Tallahassee Community College to develop a regional
        WAGES Training Institute.  The institute shall
        provide job coaching for former welfare recipients;
        ongoing training and professional development for
        the WAGES program staff and boards; and conduct a
        study of the short and long term effects of WAGES.

Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process.  However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement
within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items.
