        In Section     On Page 402

        Insert the following new section following Section 19 
        on page 402 and renumber subsequent sections:

Section 19. There is hereby appropriated to the school board of Monroe
County the sum of $1,700,000 for the 1998-99 school year to compensate
that school district for damage sustained by school facilities as a
result of natural disasters that have affected Monroe County during the
1998-99 school year.


        In the first line of Section 21 on page 403, strike

Section 21. Except for Section 19, which shall be effective upon
becoming law, this
