        Insert the following new paragraph of proviso 
        following Specific Appropriation 52 on page 19:

        From the funds appropriated in Specific
        Appropriation 52, $2,100,000 is provided for the
        Technological Research and Development Authority to
        provide training for teachers, administrators,
        superintendents and school board members in the
        public policies related to technology.


Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process.  However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement
within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items.
