        Florida Tobacco Pilot Program

        At the end of existing proviso language, following 
        Specific Appropriation 452, INSERT:

        From funds in Specific Appropriation 452, $2,500,000
        in non-recurring funds shall be provided to fund the
        continuation of the Sports for Life youth sports
        program to encourage tobacco prevention among
        Florida's youth.  Funds shall be used to expand the
        community-based involvement of youth sports and
        youth organizations in tobacco prevention
        activities.  The Florida Sports Foundation and the
        regional sports commissions shall be actively
        involved in the dissemination of the program.  The
        Florida Department of Health shall continue to
        oversee the management and accountability of the
        program.


Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process.  However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement
within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items.
