14         On page 14, lines 10-17, delete those lines

15

16  and insert:

17         (2)(a)  The Workforce Development Board shall be

18  governed by a 27-member voting board of directors whose

19  membership and appointment must be consistent with Pub. L. No.

20  105-220, Title I, s. 111(b), and include representatives of

21  workers from the State AFL-CIO, a representative of a joint

22  apprenticeship program, and representatives of the public

23  sector in state and local government. The importance of

24  minority and gender representation shall be considered when

25  making appointments to the board. Additional members may be

26  appointed when necessary to conform to the requirements of

27  Pub. L. No. 105-220.
