11  Senator Forman moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 23, lines 14-19, delete those lines

15

16  and insert:

17         (1)  One regional workforce development board Regional

18  Workforce Development Board shall be appointed in each

19  designated service delivery area and shall serve as the local

20  workforce investment board pursuant to Pub. L. No. 105-220.

21  Existing Regional Workforce Development Boards chartered

22  pursuant to the Workforce Florida Act of 1996 shall serve as

23  the regional workforce development boards pursuant to the

24  requirements set forth herein. The membership and

25  responsibilities of the board shall be consistent with Pub. L.

26  No. 105-220, Title I, s. 117(b). Regional Workforce

27  Development Boards shall conform membership requirements

28  consistent with Pub. L. No. 105-220, Title I, s. 117(b), by

29  June 30, 2000. A
