13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 51, between lines 14 and 15,

16  insert:
17         Section 18.  Section 414.201, Florida Statutes, is
18  created to read:
19         414.201  Program for dependent care for families with
20  children with special needs.--
21         (1)  There is created the program for dependent care
22  for families with children with special needs. This program is
23  intended to provide assistance to families with children who
24  meet the following requirements:
25         (a)  The child is 13 years of age through 17 years of
26  age;
27         (b)  The child is a child with special needs, as
28  defined by the subsidized child care program authorized under
29  s. 402.3015; and
30         (c)  The family meets the income guidelines established
31  under s. 402.3015.

 2  Financial eligibility for this program shall be based solely
 3  on the guidelines used for subsidized child care,
 4  notwithstanding any financial eligibility criteria in s.
 5  414.075, s. 414.085, or s. 414.095, to the contrary.
 6         (2)  Implementation of this program is subject to an
 7  appropriation of funds for this purpose.
 8         (3)  If federal funds under the Temporary Assistance
 9  for Needy Families Block Grant provided under Title IV-A of
10  the Social Security Act, as amended, are used for this
11  program, the family must be informed about the federal
12  requirements upon receipt of such assistance and must sign a
13  written statement acknowledging and agreeing to comply with
14  all federal requirements.
15         (4)  Notwithstanding any provision of s. 414.105 to the
16  contrary, the time limitation on receipt of such assistance
17  shall be the limit established in subsection (a)(7) of section
18  408 of the Social Security Act, as amended.
