14 On page 46, between lines 2 and 3,

16 insert:
17 Section 15. Section 414.159, Florida Statutes, is
18 created to read:
19 414.159 Teen parent and pregnancy prevention diversion
20 program; eligibility for services.--The Legislature recognizes
21 that teen pregnancy is a major cause of dependency on
22 government assistance which often extends through more than
23 one generation. The purpose of the teen parent and pregnancy
24 prevention diversion program is to provide services to reduce
25 and avoid welfare dependency by reducing teen pregnancy,
26 reducing the incidence of multiple pregnancies to teens, and
27 assisting teens in completing educational programs.
28 (1) Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary in
29 s. 414.075, s. 414.085, or s. 414.095, a teen who is
30 determined to be at risk of teen pregnancy or who already has
31 a child shall be eligible to receive services under this

2 (2) Services provided under this program are limited
3 to services that are not considered assistance under federal
4 law or guidelines.
5 (3) Receipt of services under this section does not

21 in the program does not preclude eligibility
22 for other assistance;
