  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to Palm Beach County, Port of

  3         Palm Beach District; amending chapter 74-570,

  4         Laws of Florida; increasing the salary of

  5         commissioners; providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  Section 3 of article VI of chapter 74-570,

10  Laws of Florida, as amended by chapter 81-459, Laws of

11  Florida, is amended to read:

12         ARTICLE VI.  ORGANIZATION AND COMPENSATION OF BOARD OF

13  COMMISSIONERS.--

14         Section 3.  Salary of commissioners.--The salary of

15  each commissioner, regardless of the office that he or she

16  shall hold, shall be nine four thousand five eight hundred

17  dollars ($9,500) ($4,800) per annum, payable in monthly

18  installments. Commissioners shall receive a 3 percent increase

19  in salary annually.

20         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

21  law.
