15         On page 9, between lines 4 and 5, of the bill

17  insert:

18         7.a.  Use the resources and capabilities of the State

19  University System and the Division of Community Colleges in

20  improving school readiness programs, including establishing a

21  career path for employees in school readiness professions that

22  leads from entry-level employment to a bachelor's degree. The

23  State University System and the Division of Community Colleges

24  shall assist and support the governing board and the

25  coalitions in utilizing existing resources.

26         b.  In consultation with the Postsecondary Education

27  Planning Commission and the Education Standards Commission,

28  assess the expertise of public and private Florida

29  postsecondary institutions in the areas of infant and toddler

30  developmental research; the related curriculum of training,

31  career, and academic programs; and the status of articulation
