11  Senator Campbell moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 28, lines 23 through 29, delete those lines

15

16  and insert:

17         Section 3.  Notwithstanding the provisions of sections

18  186.901, 218.245, and 218.26, Florida Statutes, to the

19  contrary, for all purposes under state law beginning with

20  fiscal year 1999, the total population for the Cities of

21  Pompano Beach and Deerfield Beach, Florida, shall include any

22  additional residents added to the cities by the approval of

23  the proposed annexations authorized by this act. The

24  Department of Revenue shall recalculate the revenue sharing

25  apportionment factors pursuant to section 218.245, Florida

26  Statutes, as of September 15, 1999, based on any increase in

27  municipal population generated by these proposed annexations.
