13 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
14 On page 25, between lines 28 and 29,

16 insert:
17 Section 14. Effective October 1, 1999, the minimum per
18 claim financial responsibility required under ss.
19 458.320(2)(b) and (c) and 459.0085(2)(b) and (c), Florida
20 Statutes, shall be increased from $250,000 to $500,000 and the
21 minimum aggregate requirement specified in said sections shall
22 be increased from $750,000 to $1,000,000; provided, further
23 that the provisions of ss. 458.320(5)(g) and 459.0085(5)(g),
24 Florida Statutes, respectively, shall not apply to any
25 physician or osteopathic physician with hospital staff
26 privileges.
