1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to the re-creation of the
3 Market Trade Show Trust Fund without
4 modification; re-creating the Market Trade Show
5 Trust Fund; carrying forward current balances
6 and continuing current sources and uses
7 thereof; providing an effective date.

9 WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of
10 the Market Trade Show Trust Fund, which is otherwise scheduled
11 to be terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate, and
12 WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Market Trade
13 Show Trust Fund before its scheduled termination date and has
14 found that it continues to meet an important public purpose,
15 and
16 WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public
17 policy concerning the Market Trade Show Trust Fund sets
18 adequate parameters for its use, NOW, THEREFORE,
19
20 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

22 Section 1. (1) The Market Trade Show Trust Fund
23 within the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services,
24 FLAIR number 42-2-466, which was created pursuant to chapter
25 89-253, Laws of Florida, and which is to be terminated
26 pursuant to Section 19(f), Article III of the State
27 Constitution on November 4, 2000, is re-created.
28 (2) All current balances of the trust fund are carried
29 forward, and all current sources and uses of the trust fund
30 are continued.

1 Section 2. This act shall take effect November 4,
2 2000.
