1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to trust funds; re-creating the
3 Administrative Trust Fund within the Department
4 of Business and Professional Regulation without
5 modification; carrying forward current balances
6 and continuing current sources and uses
7 thereof; providing an effective date.

9 WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of
10 the Administrative Trust Fund within the Department of
11 Business and Professional Regulation, which is otherwise
12 scheduled to be terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate,
13 and
14 WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the
15 Administrative Trust Fund within the Department of Business
16 and Professional Regulation before its scheduled termination
17 date and has found that it continues to meet an important
18 public purpose, and
19 WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public
20 policy concerning the Administrative Trust Fund within the
21 Department of Business and Professional Regulation sets
22 adequate parameters for its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

24 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

26 Section 1. (1) The Administrative Trust Fund within
27 the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, FLAIR
28 number 79-2-021, which was created by section 455.116, Florida
29 Statutes, and which is to be terminated by the Legislature
30 pursuant to Section 19(f), Article III of the State
31 Constitution on November 4, 2000, is re-created.

1 (2) All current balances of the trust fund are carried
2 forward, and all current sources and uses of the trust fund
3 are continued.
4 Section 2. This act shall take effect November 4,
5 2000.
