  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to trust funds; re-creating the

  3         Clerk of the Court Child Support Enforcement

  4         Collection System Trust Fund within the

  5         Department of Revenue without modification;

  6         carrying forward current balances and

  7         continuing current sources and uses thereof;

  8         providing an effective date.

  9

10         WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of

11  the Clerk of the Court Child Support Enforcement Collection

12  System Trust Fund within the Department of Revenue, which is

13  otherwise scheduled to be terminated pursuant to

14  constitutional mandate, and

15         WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Clerk of the

16  Court Child Support Enforcement Collection System Trust Fund

17  within the Department of Revenue before its scheduled

18  termination date and has found that it continues to meet an

19  important public purpose, and

20         WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public

21  policy concerning the Clerk of the Court Child Support

22  Enforcement Collection System Trust Fund within the Department

23  of Revenue sets adequate parameters for its use, NOW,

24  THEREFORE,

26  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

27

28         Section 1.  (1)  The Clerk of the Court Child Support

29  Enforcement Collection System Trust Fund within the Department

30  of Revenue, FLAIR number 73-2-115, which was created by

31  section 61.1811, Florida Statutes, and which is to be

  1  terminated pursuant to Section 19(f), Article III of the State

  2  Constitution on November 4, 2000, is re-created.

  3         (2)  All current balances of the trust fund within the

  4  Department of Revenue are carried forward, and all current

  5  sources and uses of the trust fund are continued.

  6         Section 2.  This act shall take effect November 4,

  7  2000.
