1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to the re-creation of the
3 Educational Aids Trust Fund without
4 modification; re-creating the Division of
5 Public Schools Educational Aids Trust Fund;
6 carrying forward current balances and
7 continuing current sources and uses thereof;
8 providing an effective date.

10 WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of
11 the Division of Public Schools Educational Aids Trust Fund,
12 which is otherwise scheduled to be terminated pursuant to
13 constitutional mandate, and
14 WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Division of
15 Public Schools Educational Aids Trust Fund before its
16 scheduled termination date and has found that it continues to
17 meet an important public purpose, and
18 WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public
19 policy concerning the Division of Public Schools Educational
20 Aids Trust Fund sets adequate parameters for its use, NOW,
21 THEREFORE,

23 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

25 Section 1. (1) The Educational Aids Trust Fund, FLAIR
26 number 48 2 180, which was created within the Department of
27 Education and which is to be terminated pursuant to Section
28 19(f), Article III of the State Constitution on November 4,
29 2000, is re-created.

1 (2) All current balances of the trust fund are carried
2 forward, and all current sources and uses of the trust fund
3 are continued.
4 Section 2. This act shall take effect November 4,
5 2000.
