  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the re-creation of the

  3         Division of Administration Knott Data Center

  4         Working Capital Trust Fund within the

  5         Department of Education without modification;

  6         re-creating the Division of Administration

  7         Knott Data Center Working Capital Trust Fund;

  8         carrying forward current balances and

  9         continuing current sources and uses thereof;

10         providing an effective date.

12         WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of

13  the Division of Administration Knott Data Center Working

14  Capital Trust Fund, which is otherwise scheduled to be

15  terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate, and

16         WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Division of

17  Administration Knott Data Center Working Capital Trust Fund

18  before its scheduled termination date and has found that it

19  continues to meet an important public purpose, and

20         WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public

21  policy concerning the Division of Administration Knott Data

22  Center Working Capital Trust Fund sets adequate parameters for

23  its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

25  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

26

27         Section 1.  (1)  The Division of Administration Knott

28  Data Center Working Capital Trust Fund within the Department

29  of Education, FLAIR number 48-2-792, which was created by

30  section 216.272, Florida Statutes, and which is to be

  1  terminated pursuant to Section 19(f), Article III of the State

  2  Constitution on November 4, 2000, is re-created.

  3         (2)  All current balances of the trust fund are carried

  4  forward, and all current sources and uses of the trust fund

  5  are continued.

  6         Section 2.  This act shall take effect November 4,

  7  2000.
