  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to developments of regional

  3         impact; amending s. 380.0651, F.S.; requiring

  4         construction and demolition landfills to

  5         undergo development-of-regional-impact review;

  6         providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  Paragraph (l) is added to subsection (3) of

11  section 380.0651, Florida Statutes, 1998 Supplement, to read:

12         380.0651  Statewide guidelines and standards.--

13         (3)  The following statewide guidelines and standards

14  shall be applied in the manner described in s. 380.06(2) to

15  determine whether the following developments shall be required

16  to undergo development-of-regional-impact review:

17         (l)  Construction and demolition landfills.--Any

18  construction and demolition landfill is required to undergo

19  development-of-regional-impact review.

20         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

21  law.
