1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to the re-creation of the
3 Facilities Construction Administrative Trust
4 Fund without modification; re-creating the
5 Facilities Construction Administrative Trust
6 Fund; carrying forward current balances and
7 continuing current sources and uses thereof;
8 providing an effective date.

10 WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of
11 the Facilities Construction Administrative Trust Fund, which
12 is otherwise scheduled to be terminated pursuant to
13 constitutional mandate, and
14 WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the trust fund
15 before its scheduled termination date and has found that it
16 continues to meet an important public purpose, and
17 WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public
18 policy concerning the trust fund sets adequate parameters for
19 its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

21 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

23 Section 1. (1) The Facilities Construction
24 Administrative Trust Fund, FLAIR number 48-2-222, which was
25 created within the Department of Education and which is to be
26 terminated pursuant to Section 19(f), Article III of the State
27 Constitution on November 4, 2000, is re-created.
28 (2) All current balances of the trust fund are carried
29 forward and all current sources and uses of the trust fund are
30 continued.

1 Section 2. This act shall take effect November 4,
2 2000.
