1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to the re-creation of the
3 Division of Universities Facility Construction
4 Administrative Trust Fund without modification;
5 re-creating the Division of Universities
6 Facility Construction Administrative Trust
7 Fund; carrying forward current balances and
8 continuing current sources and uses thereof;
9 providing an effective date.

11 WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of
12 the Division of Universities Facility Construction
13 Administrative Trust Fund, which is otherwise scheduled to be
14 terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate, and
15 WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Division of
16 Universities Facility Construction Administrative Trust Fund
17 before its scheduled termination date and has found that it
18 continues to meet an important public purpose, and
19 WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public
20 policy concerning the Division of Universities Facility
21 Construction Administrative Trust Fund sets adequate
22 parameters for its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

24 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
25
26 Section 1. (1) The Division of Universities Facility
27 Construction Administrative Trust Fund, FLAIR number 49-2-222,
28 which was created within the Department of Education and which
29 is to be terminated pursuant to Section 19(f), Article III of
30 the State Constitution on November 4, 2000, is re-created.

1 (2) All current balances of the trust fund are carried
2 forward, and all current sources and uses of the trust fund
3 are continued.
4 Section 2. This act shall take effect November 4,
5 2000.
