1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act re-creating the Permit Fee Trust Fund of
3 the Department of Environmental Protection
4 without modification; carrying forward current
5 balances and continuing uses thereof; providing
6 an effective date.

8 WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of
9 the Permit Fee Trust Fund, which is otherwise scheduled to be
10 terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate, and
11 WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Permit Fee
12 Trust Fund before its scheduled termination date and has found
13 that it continues to meet an important public purpose, and
14 WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the existing public
15 policy concerning the Permit Fee Trust Fund sets adequate
16 parameters for its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

18 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
19
20 Section 1. (1) The Permit Fee Trust Fund within the
21 Department of Environmental Protection, FLAIR number 37-2-526,
22 which is to be terminated pursuant to Section 19(f), Article
23 III of the State Constitution on November 4, 2000, is
24 re-created.
25 (2) All current balances of the trust fund are carried
26 forward and uses of the trust fund are continued.
27 Section 2. This act shall take effect November 4,
28 2000.
