11  The Committee on Transportation offered the following:

13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 2, line 9, through page 4, line 21,

15  remove from the bill:  all of said lines

17  and insert:

19  (c)  Permits for the use of any portion of a state-maintained

20  road or right-of-way shall be required only for those purposes

21  and in the manner set out in s.337.406.

22

23  (d)  Notwithstanding paragraphs (b) and (c), a minor under the

24  age of 18 years may not stand, or approach a motor vehicle, on

25  any public street, highway or road in the area that is open

26  for use by the public for vehicular traffic purposes in order

27  to solicit.

29  (e)  A person who violates the provisions of this subsection

30  commits a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as

31  provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.  However, for a first

 1  time violation of paragraph (d), the law enforcement officer

 2  shall issue a warning to the offender.

 3         Section 3.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

 4  law.
