14         Senate Amendment 

15         On page 3, lines 9-15, delete those lines

16

17  and insert:  governments are presently funding portions of

18  certain foster care and related services programs and may

19  choose to expand such funding in the future, the Legislature

20  does not intend by its privatization of foster care and

21  related services that any county, municipality, or special

22  district be required to assist in funding programs that

23  previously have been funded by the state. Nothing in this

24  paragraph prohibits any county, municipality, or special

25  district from future voluntary funding participation in foster

26  care and related services. As used in this section, the term

27  "privatize" means
